BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING & PAYMENTS


  • Bookings for a selected language course to learn English in Malta should be made a minimum of 15 days in advance – except for the summer season (1.06-15.09), when the booking is required 1 month in advance.

  • Confirmation of the course booking is made only after receipt of a deposit payment in the amount of 50% of the total package price, made in the form of an international bank transfer to the indicated bank account.

  • The total amount to be paid for the course must reach our account no later than 15 days before the date of arrival in Malta.

  • When booking less than 31 days before the start of the course, 100% of the package value has to be paid.

  • Details of the stay will be provided via e-mail after full payment is made.

  • Payment information and bank details can be found on the booking invoice. Angielski-Malta.pl does not bear the costs of international bank transfers.

THE PACKAGE PRICE INCLUDES:


  • selected English course at the certified language school: English Language Academy / Inlingua / NSTS in Malta, see more: COURSES

  • selected accommodation: hotel, apartment, school campus or host family (renting apartments on your own is not part of the package), see more: ACCOMMODATION

  • meals depending on the chosen accommodation option

  • language school registration fee

  • meeting with a Ready4Malta representative after arriving in Malta before the start of the language course

  • 24/7 contact with an English-speaking language school representative

  • the possibility of contacting a Ready4Malta representative, a resident of Malta, 7 days a week by e-mail or phone at set times

  • a book and/or other learning materials provided by the language school

THE PACKAGE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

The package price does not include other costs than those specified in the offer, in particular, the following additional fees:



  • airline tickets

  • travel insurance

  • airport transfers (available extra at €19 one-way)

  • optional trips

  • public transport

  • ECO tourist tax collected by the hotel. From 2016, all guests over 18 years old are required to pay a government tourist tax of EUR 0.50 cents per person per night, a maximum of EUR 5 per stay.

FLIGHTS

BOOKING MODIFICATIONS BY YOU

In the event of change of date or cancellation of a trip by a Participant, Ready4Malta reserves the right to charge additional costs incurred by Ready4Malta until the Participant’s statement of resignation or change of the date of the event was delivered. Booking modification is only possible via email contact with Ready4Malta customer service.

 

Learn English in Malta – cancellation fees:



  • min. 32 days before arrival you are entitled to a 100% refund of the total price of the package, excluding organisational costs in the amount of €85 per person

  • min. 15 days before arrival you are entitled to a 100% refund of the total price of the package excluding the organisational and registration costs of the language school in the amount of €170 per person

  • less than 15 days before arrival – no refunds


Payment refund deadlines:


Customer refunds will be processed within 14 days of the date of the cancelled booking.

Changing hotel booking dates

Ready4Malta does not charge any penalties for changing the dates of booking accommodation if a modification request is made at least 15 days before arrival in Malta.

In this case, the customer will be informed of the difference in the price of accommodation. Change of reservation will be confirmed after receiving any additional payment. We do not guarantee that the same hotel/apartment/host family will be available if you change your date of stay in Malta.

Exchange of Participants

Ready4Malta does not charge penalty for the exchange of participants who are to learn English in Malta, except for handling costs of EUR 85, if the participant at the time of withdrawal from the contract, but no later than 3 days before the start of the event, indicates to Ready4Malta a person who meets all the conditions of participation in a tourist event, to which he/she will transfer their rights and who will take over the obligations arising from the contract for the resigning person.

BOOKING MODIFICATIONS BY US

If, after the conclusion of the contract, and before the commencement of the journey, there are unforeseen deviations or changes concerning the information contained in the catalogue or the contract, Ready4Malta undertakes to immediately inform the customer about them.
In the case of information about the lack of available rooms in the hotel chosen by the client at the time of booking, Ready4Malta reserves the right to change the hotel to the accommodation of the same standard, not more than 10 minutes on foot from the language school and without charging the client additional costs.
If other essential terms of the contract change, the customer has the right to terminate the contract and receive a refund all amounts paid. The customer should inform Ready4Malta about the resignation or acceptance of the changed contract terms within 3 days of obtaining information about the changes.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS IN MALTA - NO COURSE

When planning the dates of your journet to learn English in Malta, please note that language schools in Malta are closed on weekends and public holidays in Malta. At the time of booking, please note that classes do not take place on public holidays in Malta. There is no refund for lessons that have not taken place on those days. The language school’s internal policy decides about the possibility of making up for them on other days – Ready4Malta does not bear any responsibility for this.

ASSIGNMENT TO A LANGUAGE GROUP

Language schools in Malta arrange classes individually for each group of students attending the English courses. They reserve the right to implement a double system of hours, in which students attend morning and/or afternoon classes. Before choosing an offer, please check the working hours of each school.

If the student does not have the minimum level required to participate in a specific course, as determined by the placement test, the school reserves the right to transfer the student to the appropriate group according to his language level at no additional cost.

AIRPORT TRANSFER

Flight details should be sent to our email address at least 14 days before arriving in Malta. Ready4Malta cannot be held responsible if this information is not provided accurately. The transport company acting on behalf of Ready4Malta reserves the right to charge additional fees for waiting times that exceed 1 hour.

COMPLAINTS

Ready4Malta is responsible for the execution of the event in accordance with the offer and the agreed quality and standard of services. In the event of a discrepancy between the facts and the offer, the participant must immediately inform the language school and a representative of Ready4Malta to enable them solving the issue on the spot.
All complaints pertaining to services should be made in writing (e-mail) and forwarded immediately and during the trip. Claims after the course will not be considered.

THE OBLIGATIONS OF SIDES

The obligations of Ready4Malta:



  • Booking the language course chosen by the customer in Malta, based on the Booking Form sent, and supervision of its proper execution by the local language school.

  • Immediate transfer of the course fee to the account of the selected language school after receiving the entire amount from the client (deposit + the remaining balance).

  • Preparation of the final quotation of the course in accordance with the exchange rate used by the mBank or the National Bank of Poland (NBP) on the day of booking.

  • Providing the client with all documents provided by a local language school, which are necessary for joining the course in accordance with the services ordered by the client and confirmed for execution by the language school in Malta.


The obligation of the Customer:



  • Providing Ready4Malta with a correctly completed Booking Form.

  • Transferring to Ready4Malta’s account the total fee for the selected Language Course package in Malta within the designated period.

  • If the customer fails to make the payment within the set deadline, he/she loses the course booking and the non-refundable deposit, and may be charged for any costs incurred by Ready4Malta.

  • Any changes should be submitted by the customer in writing.


Ready4Malta is not responsible for:



  • Loss of personal items (documents, money and other) by the customer.

  • Medical expenses and accidents during the course (we recommend purchasing the insurance).

  • Force majeure, weather conditions, international conflicts, strikes and other causes independent of Ready4Malta that may affect the implementation and the tenor of the course.

  • Customer’s refusal of entry to the country of arrival by customs or immigration services and therefore not taking part in the language course (Ready4Malta will provide the Client with all necessary documents issued by the language school).

  • The customer is obliged to comply with the law in force in the country of residence and language school rules (in the event of their violation may be removed from the course without refunding the fee for not using the service) and to cover any material damage caused by his fault during the course.

  • In matters not covered by this agreement, the relevant provisions of the Civil Code shall apply. Any disputes will be settled by a court in Malta.

EVENT CANCELLATION BY READY4MALTA

Ready4Malta reserves the right to cancel events without incurring additional costs when documented force majeure (unforseen circumstance) has occurred. In the case of an event being cancelled, the participant has the right at his own choice to:
  • an immediate refund of all previously paid contributions to Ready4Malta;
  • participation in a substitute event of the same standard;
  • participation in a replacement event of a higher or lower standard for an additional fee or refund of the difference in price.

INSURANCE

By making a payment to Ready4Malta’s account, the customer declares that his health allows him to participate in a language course in Malta.

Ready4Malta recommends that the customer purchases additional insurance covering personal accidents during travel. We recommend buying insurance directly in your home country – then in the event of any disputes, the court in your country and not in Malta will be involved. 

DOCUMENTS

The participant of English language holidays must have a valid passport or an ID card required by law to cross the border between their country and Malta. Ready4Malta is not responsible for late issuance or refusal to issue a passport and refusal of entry to the Maltese Islands, resulting from actions of authorised entities or services.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Optional activities in the Maltese Islands are organised by local agencies with which Ready4Malta has no legal relationship. The Ready4Malta offer includes, for information purposes only, a sample program and approximate prices of the most typical events. The client makes the payment for them to the agency organising the event through a language school.
Participation in optional activities is voluntary and is not covered by the Ready4Malta contract. Ready4Malta also does not guarantee that all given optional activities will take place. The execution may require a minimum number of applicants, appropriate weather and time of year determined by the local organiser.

READY4MALTA ASSISTANCE IN MALTA

Our basic package includes, among others, the possibility of contacting the Ready4Malta office before arrival to the island and during your English Course. Additionally, a representative of Ready4Malta will meet with each of our guests after they arrive in the Maltese Islands, before starting a language course, to discuss the details of the stay.

In the case of English Summer Camps for Teens, please be advised that Angielski—Malta.pl/Ready4Malta is only an intermediary in the purchase of the language course and is not responsible for the supervision of participants during their stay in Malta.The Angielski-Malta.pl/Ready4Malta representative meets the student after their arrival in Malta to provide information on the course of language holidays and details of everyday life on the island.

Each foreign language school as an organiser bears the full responsibility for looking after children and young people from the beginning of the camp. In all schools, children and young people are required to obtain permission from their guardian to go outside the school premises. Children and adolescents are looked after by the guardians assigned by the school. Most of the schools we work with also have 24-hour security and a 24/7 emergency number (available in English).

ACCOMMODATION IN MALTA

If you are coming to learn English in Malta, as the Ready4Malta we offer various accommodation options:



  • Hotels – the given standard is determined by the number of stars in accordance with the regulations of the given country. Hotels with the same number of stars in different countries may differ in the standard and equipment of the rooms.

  • Host Families – Host Families accredited by the language school are an opportunity to live with Maltese families during the language course. PLEASE NOTE: During your stay with the host family, you must comply with the rules established by them with the language school. They include certain times of meals and curfews, which must be strictly respected.

  • Shared Apartments – independent, self-catering holiday apartments. They consist of one, two or three rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette equipped with a stove, fridge and essential equipment.

  • Academic Campus – a summer residence of the language school, providing accommodation for participants of English Summer Camps for Teens in Malta.


All student accommodation facilities are allowed to operate under relevant regulations in force in Malta and have been approved for operation by the State Sanitary Inspector. A description of the type of accommodation, standard, infrastructure and room equipment can be found in each package’s description.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

In most accommodation facilities the check-in starts at 14:00 or 15:00 and the check-out has to be completed by 10:00 or 11:00. While waiting for the check-in and after checking out on the last day of their stay, guests can leave their luggage in the place indicated by the reception or in the luggage storage room.
PLEASE NOTE: On the day of arrival your room will likely be available earlier than the times mentioned above. Therefore you will be able to check-in directly on arrival from the airport. Ask the hotel reception for details.

MEALS

The number and type of meals are specified in the description of each accommodation type.
All our language schools and accommodation spots are located in an area where there are numerous shops and a wide range of cafes and restaurants with international cuisine – depending on individual preferences.

GDPR CONSENT

I consent to the processing of my personal data for the purposes of answering the questions in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (GDPR).

T&C OF THE SERVICES

Terms & Conditions for the provision of electronic services by the Ready4Malta Agency and through the website angielski-malta.pl (Learn English in Malta), based in Malta.


§ 1. General provisions


The following Regulations define the types, scope and conditions of intermediation in the sale of services by electronic means by Ready4Malta via the angielski-malta.pl website, the conditions for obtaining information about the tourist offer, booking and purchasing a tourist event, as well as the conditions for concluding and terminating contracts for electronic services and the complaint procedure.

The Regulations are an agreement between Ready4Malta and the Users, in which there are rules which constitute the legal basis for using the website, obliging Users to comply with them. Each User is obliged, at the time of taking steps to use the website, to comply with these regulations.

The owner of the website and the entity providing services as part of the intermediation in the sale of language schools services in Malta is Ready4Malta with its registered office in Malta at Tigne Street, Fort Cambridge, South 2, 1002, SLM 1000, Sliema.

Ready4Malta would like to emphasise the fact that it is not a party to the contract for the provision of tourist services and other contracts concluded via the angielski-malta.pl website, it is always a clearly indicated and specified service provider offering services that are the subject of the contract, including a language school. Ready4Malta points out that the agreements referred to above are concluded and implemented taking into account the General Terms and Conditions of Participation in Tourist Events of a given service provider. Ready4Malta only acts as an intermediary in concluding a contract for the provision of tourist services (as a Tourist Agent) with a given tour operator and has no influence on the conditions under which the services are provided by Tour Operators’ Offices. The General Terms and Conditions of Participation in tourist events of individual Tour Operators’ Offices are made available before booking the trip and must be approved by the participant. Therefore, they become an integral part of the agency agreement concluded with the participation of the Ready4Malta Event Agency.

§ 2. Types and scope of services provided electronically


As part of the provision of services on the website angielski-malta.pl, the User may choose language camps for youth, language courses for adults along with stays in hotels and air tickets offered by a partner cooperating with Ready4Malta, and then make an initial reservation and purchase the event. tourist, hotel stay or flight ticket.The materials, information or prices presented on the Website do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code.

§ 3. Limitation of Liability


The data contained on the website angielski-malta.pl are data obtained from the websites of language schools and accommodation centers, including hotels. Ready4Malta is not responsible for their reliability or completeness. The actual availability of a given package or ticket must be confirmed with the language school and all partners who organize the trip or offer its individual components.

Ready4Malta shall not be liable towards the Website User for non-performance or improper performance of services covered by the booked Tourist Event, transport service or other service available on the Ready4Malta website, because the entity that directly concluded the contract with the User is responsible in this respect.

Compliance with the required formal and legal conditions, such as passport and visa conditions in the countries that require it, is the responsibility of the User booking and then purchasing services via the website.

Ready4Malta shall not be liable for damages caused to persons using the services purchased through the angielski-malta.pl website, resulting from the fact of not traveling in the event of force majeure within the meaning of the Civil Code, as well as for reasons beyond the control of Ready4Malta.

§ 4. Making a reservation


By pre-booking a Tourist Event, the User declares that he has full legal capacity. By accepting the conditions below, he / she assumes full financial responsibility for the use of the Booking System. The User assures that he will use the website to make inquiries about booking and purchase a ticket only in a manner consistent with applicable law, avoiding any actions aimed at obtaining unfair claims. It is forbidden for the User to make a booking inquiry using a false or someone else’s name and to make payments for booked airline tickets and other services with a false or someone else’s credit card.

The user acknowledges that the data of the person for whom the pre-booking is made should match the data in the passport or ID card when traveling within the European Union. In the event of failure to provide the service purchased via the Website due to the incompatibility of personal data contained in the pre-booking with the data in the passport or ID card or other reasons for which Ready4Malta is not responsible, the payment made by the User of all or part of the price shall be refunded by the appropriate Tour operator office in accordance with the contract concluded with the Tour operator office.

By making a reservation and purchasing a Tourist Event, you have read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Participation of the Tourist Event Organizer and the provisions of these Regulations.

The User places a binding order to make a reservation in writing via the Internet on the website angielski-malta.pl by clicking the “Send inquiry” button on the booking form. In each case the User makes a booking of a Tourist Event, transport service or other service selected on the basis of information contained on the Website, such booking shall be deemed to be the submission by the User of a binding offer to conclude a contract for the provision of tourist services with a given Tourist Organizer on the terms specified in the booking. As soon as the Organizer confirms the receipt of the booking made by the User, containing essential provisions of the contract for the provision of tourist services, the contract is concluded under the conditions specified in the booking and confirmation.

§ 5. Changes in services and prices by the Organizer


Ready4Malta declares that, as a rule, each Organizer reserves the right to change individual services in relation to the agreed content of the contract, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Participation and Payment of a given Organizer. Ready4Malta is not responsible for changes made by the Organizer under the contract. If the User does not use individual travel services due to an earlier return or for other reasons for which the Tour Operator’s Office is not responsible, the service provider or the Organizer is not obliged to refund the travel price.

§ 6. Cancellation of the contract, change of reservation, change of registered participants


Making changes to the booking and canceling the booking after purchasing the trip is possible on the terms specified by the Organizer of the event.Changes or cancellation of the booking is possible by sending an order in writing (giving the User’s first and last name and the booking number) to the e-mail address courses@angielski-malta.pl.

In the event that the cancellation or modification of the booking results in additional costs, the User authorizes Ready4Malta to deduct the amount required to cover the costs from the amount of the advance payment. If the amount of the advance payment is lower than the costs of canceling or changing the reservation, the User is obliged to pay the amount equal to the difference between the amount of the costs incurred and the advance payment. The date and amount of the additional payment is determined in accordance with the contract and the General Terms and Conditions of the Tourist Event Organizer’s Services.

§ 7. Complaints


In the event of dissatisfaction with the proper performance of the contract by the Organizer, the User has the right to submit a complaint to the extent related to the non-performance or improper performance of the contract by the Organizer of the services contained in the Agreement purchased via the Tourist Event Website.

Complaints should be submitted in writing to the address of the Tourist Event Organizer, otherwise being null and void. Complaints are examined by the Organizer on the terms set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Participation of a given tourist event.Ready4Malta will make every effort to ensure that the services provided by it are of the highest quality.

A correctly submitted complaint should contain at least: the User’s name, surname, address (it may also contain an e-mail address and a contact telephone number, which will facilitate contact with the User) and a brief description of the advertised fact or service. 

§ 8. After-sales service


At any time, the User may contact the Ready4Malta consultant and obtain information on the status of the booking made, as well as additional information about the booked Tourist Event, as well as obtain answers to other questions regarding the Tourist Event ordered.

§ 9. Technical requirements for using the website angielski-malta.pl


The services are provided to Users who meet the following technical requirements:

have a connection to the public Internet network,

have a web browser that allows displaying HTML documents on the computer screen with the option of accepting cookies.

§ 10. Protection of personal data


Recipients using the Service Provider’s Website remain anonymous until they decide otherwise. The service provider collects only information on the number of visitors to individual pages of the portal and information contained in system logs (e.g. IP address), which are used for technical purposes related to server administration.

Recipients who decide to authorize their activity on any of the Service Provider’s websites are asked to fill in the form and provide information enabling contact with the user (e-mail address), as well as their name and surname. These data are used by the Service Provider only for the necessary contacts with the Service User.

Recipients who purchase tourist services via the Service Provider’s Website, provide the Service Provider with other data – indicated by the Service Provider in the booking form – necessary in the process of booking and purchasing a tourist service. These data are protected in accordance with the “Personal Data Protection Act”. The provision of personal data is voluntary and is related only to the booking and purchase procedure of a tourist service. By completing the booking form and purchasing the tourist service, the Client agrees to the processing of his personal data. Each Service Recipient has the right to access and change the data provided by him.

The Service Recipient’s personal data is processed by the Service Provider as the Administrator in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

The Customer’s personal data is processed by the Service Provider as the Administrator also in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Providing personal data is voluntary.

The Service Provider is entitled to refuse to provide the service by electronic means due to the Service Recipient’s failure to provide the data necessary due to the functioning of the ICT system ensuring the provision of electronic services or the nature of the services provided by the Service Provider.

By accepting these Regulations, the Service Recipient agrees to receive commercial information from the Service Provider in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

The User’s data provided when sending an inquiry regarding the offer, filling in the booking form or talking to the consultant, will be treated by the Service Provider as confidential and stored using techniques securing unauthorized access to third parties. These data may be made available only at the request of authorized state authorities.

Some areas of the Website may use cookie files, i.e. small text files sent to the Customer’s computer, identifying it in a way necessary to simplify or cancel a given operation. Cookies are harmless to the Customer’s computer and to the Customer’s data. The condition for the operation of cookies is their acceptance by the User’s browser and not removing them from the disk. Cookies do not contain any personal information.

§ 11. Final provisions


In matters not covered by the provisions of these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply. Any disputes related to the services provided by Ready4Malta are settled by a civil court in Malta.

The use of the angielski-malta.pl website by the User is tantamount to submitting a declaration by the User regarding the acceptance of all provisions of these Regulations without reservations.
Any changes to the Regulations will be published on the website angielski-malta.pl. The changes come into force on the day of their publication.Publishing the Regulations on the website as well as any changes to the Regulations is tantamount to announcing the Users.
